What is a Regional VOAD?
A regional Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOADs) work within the State VOAD structure with a focus at the local level. This group of local community organizations work together during a disaster to provide coordination of services to ensure that disaster caused unmet needs are addressed and to share information and resources within the locally defined jurisdiction. Some regional VOADs are formed within one County or multiple Counties.
